India, Pakistan in fresh cross-border firing

India on Saturday accused Pakistan of yet another ceasefire violation along the Line of Control in the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the Indian Army, during the night of 2–3 May, the Pakistan Army “initiated unprovoked small arms fire” across the Line of Control, targeting the Kupwara, Uri, and Akhnoor sectors.
